Nicole waited patiently outside of SHIELD for Maria. She had so much to tell her since the few months that she had been gone. Clint had come home and now Maria, Nicole just hoped that maybe Wade would be next. The young agent would tell Maria about her new mentee and introduce them to each other. Her thoughts suddenly slowed down when she realized that she would have to tell Maria about Dallas as well.

Maria made her way out feeling the weight of everything slowly die down. She walked over to Nicole and put on a friendly smile as she saw her, “are you ready?” She asked her wondering what all she had missed, and deep down hoping she would see Dallas soon.

She looked at her watch, “the time seems good enough.”

Her lips quirked up slightly, “I have missed you too Nicole.” She crossed her arms, “perhaps we could catch up later?”

Maria nodded once, “yes Fury had me out for a while om work.”
